I went to Friday's game against the Padres. It was April 16th, 2010. Wow is pretty much all I can say. Even though Bronson actually had a great 1st inning which is rare. I should have known this was going to be a terrible game when Bronson breezes through the first.
Anyways, the Reds were dominated by the Padres starting pitcher. He didn't even break a sweat until the sixth inning when Cincy was able to get a couple of hits.
The final score says it all. Padres 10 Reds 2, it was pretty ugly; both the Home teams pitching and hitting was terrible on this day. It's looking like it might be a long season.

Leake Debut
What a great debut for Reds pitcher Mike Leake. A solid start and two singles. You couldn't ask for more from the guy he held the Cubs to only one run.
It didn't seem like the Reds had much offense this game, but all they needed was three runs to win this.
Overall it was a successful series for the Reds they won two games and lost one. They almost swept the Cubs but lost one game in the later innings after having the lead.

Pujols is the Cardinals Ace
Wow, Pujols dominated the Reds on Opening day. Two home runs, three rbis, and that was pretty much all the Cardinals needed to beat the Reds.
Also Harang's outing wasn't that great. He started off pretty well, but only lasted five innings which isn't enough, and the bullpen was terrible except for the eighth inning.
The Reds seemed like they were gonna make a comeback in the eighth and they did score a run, but they left a couple runners on. Jay Bruce didn't have much of a day either.

Opening Day!
Today is Opening Day for the Cincinnati Reds. They are playing the St. Louis Cardinals at Great American Ballpark. Harang is the opening day pitcher, and I am hoping to see him in good form. This first series will be a good test for the Reds.
